Celebrate the launch of Theatre 1308!
Calgary Inter-Mennonite Church is launching a new, intimate, affordable, fully-equipped and accessible performance and art space called Theatre 1308! We are very excited about this project and the benefits it will bring to the Calgary community.
To celebrate and showcase the new venue, we are hosting The Bright Side Festival, Feb 23rd through March 2nd. With a focus on on being “decidedly optimistic," the festival will feature a variety of local and touring performers. There will be music, film, philosophy, improv, poetry and stand-up comedy. It's sure to be an inspiring and uplifting week! Tickets go on sale to the public on January 2, 2019.
The opening and closing shows of The Bright Side Festival are special fundraiser events, with proceeds going towards the theatre project. We invite you to support this initiative by joining us for one or both of these special Saturday nights. Tickets are available now for $50, which includes a $25 tax-receipted donation.
Thanks for your support!
